Funding Sources
As a nonprofit organization, Care Wisconsin has built a strong base of financial support from both public and private sources, including government programs, charitable foundations, service fees, and individual/corporate donors. Medicaid and Medicare account for over 95 percent of our operational budget.

We are a partner agency with the United Way of Dane County. Past generous funding has come from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Courtier Foundation, Norman Bassett Foundation, Cremer Foundation, American Family Insurance and others.
