Since our beginning, Care Wisconsin has enjoyed a diverse base of financial support from both public and private sources, including government programs, charitable foundations, service fees, and individual/corporate donors.
Today, funding for each of our programs comes from a mix of sources:
Partnership Program Medicare and Medicaid provide the funding for eligible participants. Also, depending on their income level, some participants might pay a monthly cost share or a portion of housing costs. In addition, the Partnership program receives gifts and grants from private and public foundations, companies, the community, as well as the families and friends of our participants. These donations are generally used for furnishings and equipment for such services as Partnership's Dental Clinic and Rehabilitation Department.
Adult Day Centers Our two Adult Day Centers receive support from United Way of Dane County, the Wisconsin Community Options Program, Dane County, gifts, grants, and out-of-pocket fees. Partnership also contributes the cost for its participants who attend Adult Day Centers as part of their plan of care. Any older adult in the community may enroll in an Care Wisconsin Adult Day Center by paying a service fee. We offer a sliding fee scale to individuals who are financially eligible, thanks to generous community support.
Home Care Services Older adults and their families may engage our Home Care staff on a private basis. Fees for an initial assessment and home care services by the half-hour cover the funding for this program. Also, Partnership contributes the cost for its participants who receive Home Care Services.
