There are several ways you can join us in our commitment to life-long dignity, quality of life and independence:

Gifts of cash may be made payable to Care Wisconsin. Consider making your donation in memory or in honor of a family member, friend, colleague or other respected individual. A recognition fund will be established in his or her name with your gift acknowledged.

To make a gift, please use our online donation form. You may also send your gift to the address below without using the form.

Care Wisconsin is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Your gift is deductible and results in federal and state tax savings. Elder Care will mail you an acknowledgement for your donation for your tax filing purposes.

Gifts of securities involve a transfer of securities to Care Wisconsin. This allows you to make a gift and receive a charitable deduction equal to the full fair market value of the securities. You pay no capital gains tax on your gift nor does Care Wisconsin if it chooses to sell the securities. For more information about gifts of securities, please contact Julie Sholts at (608) 245-3446 or This E-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Gifts of property can be broken down into two categories: real and personal. Real property is simply real estate--a home, farm or other land. Personal property includes cash, securities, artwork, patents, copyrights and any other item that has a determinable value. For more information about making a gift, please contact Julie Sholts at (608) 245-3446 or This E-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Planned gifts allow you to leave a lasting legacy. You may wish to consider including Care Wisconsin in your estate plans by making Care Wisconsin a beneficiary in your will, trust, insurance policy, retirement plan or bank account. For more information about planned gifts, including charitable gift annuities, please contact Julie Sholts at (608) 245-3446 or This E-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Volunteering
We're always looking for caring individuals and groups who can contribute their special talents, skills, and smiles to the lives of our participants. Here's your chance to meet interesting people, add valuable experience to your resume, and make a difference in the lives of our community's older adults.

We have volunteer opportunities throughout Care Wisconsin for individuals, volunteer groups, and company employee groups. Whether you can volunteer on a regular basis, for a few hours a month, or on a one-time occasion, we will be delighted to talk with you about the possibilities.

To find out more about volunteer positions, internships, or educational opportunities in any of our programs, please call (608) 245-3101.
