“Time flies when you are having fun” – this must be true since I celebrated 10 years with Care Wisconsin in April.
My journey began as an Administrative Assistant with the Family Care program in Waukesha when I had no idea what a managed care organization was. I have been learning and growing with the organization ever since. With a Business and IT degree tucked in my pocket and prior IT experience, I ventured back in to the world of IT in 2015. I work on configuration of our care management system, analyzing and troubleshooting issues, testing and process improvement. Never a dull moment here since each day brings something new. In my own little way, by making things easy for our care management staff, I feel that I have contributed to making our members lives a little easier. At the end of the day, that is our goal – helping our members live the best life they can.

I am always proud to say that I work here. We have an amazing work culture, one that truly exemplifies the “care” in Care Wisconsin. Everyone here, colleagues, managers and management are super supportive, encouraging and always ready to help.

On a personal front, I live in Pewaukee with my husband and 2 girls. We bought a house last year and I am looking forward to some home projects this summer. I am an avid reader and love to curl up with a good book. I am still not a fan of reading on an electronic device. I love the touch and feel of a physical book. As a family we love travelling and enjoy long drives and road trips and I am looking forward to our summer trip to the Smoky Mountains.

Something that I really believe is that our attitude defines our happiness and outlook in life and I recently read a quote that sums it up – “A bad attitude is like a flat tire; you can’t go anywhere until you change it.”

Happy 10 year anniversary! Thank you for being with us!
