Meet Aida, a Regulatory Affairs Specialist in the Dane County Office. Read about how Aida’s previous experience as a paralegal helps her navigate her current role at Care Wisconsin.
“Before coming to Care Wisconsin, I felt like I was at a career crossroads; after about seven years of working as a paralegal, I felt stuck, I didn’t feel challenged or that I was helping my community. I decided to apply for an Administrative Assistant role here at Care Wisconsin, knowing that as long as I got my foot in the door, I would be able to nurture my skills and develop professionally. After some time as an AA, I was encouraged to apply for a new role as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, a role that aligned seamlessly with my skills and professional background. As a paralegal, I really enjoyed research, document review, and even the pressures of an impending deadline; but at the end of the day, I still felt unsatisfied professionally. I am so grateful I get to use my talents gained in the legal field to help our organization better serve the communities across Wisconsin.
From day one here, it was clear to me that Care Wisconsin was unlike anywhere else I had ever worked. One of my favorite things about working here is the ever-present encouragement for career advancement, personal and professional development and continuous learning.
Every person deserves to feel cared for, whether that’s literally getting the healthcare they need, or calling up their Care Manager with a problem, knowing that they have a whole team dedicated to solving that problem. It’s a great feeling at the end of the day to know that our hard work is facilitating members to live their best lives. I am so happy I get to be a part of this organization! ”
Thanks for sharing Aida! We’re happy to have you with us!
