La Crosse Area No Limits: Ability Awareness Week

Join the Disability Action Network in showcasing the abilities of and contributions of our community members. This week of events is held during the week of the anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

 

Brat Barn Fundraiser

Village Festival Foods: Saturday July 20th 10am-6pm

Sponsor a participant’s activities for the week while enjoying a delicious meal.

 

Accessible Fishing

Chad Erickson Memorial Park: Sunday July 21st 12pm-3pm

Fishing supplies and assistance will be generously supplied by NASA. Sixty fishing poles will be given away to participants. Registration strongly recommended as space is limited.

A fishing license is not needed for this event.

 

Loggers Home Game

Monday July 22nd 5:30pm gates open, 6:35pm game start

Accessible entrance, parking, and is seating available. To sit with the No Limits group, registration is required. Sponsored tickets are available.

 

Music and Dinner

Onalaska Dairy Queen: Tuesday July 23rd 4pm-8pm

Music by Frank Moore 5pm-8pm weather permitting. Join us for a worry free meal; 15% of sales will go toward activity sponsorships.

 

Miracle League Baseball Game

Miracle Field at Hauser YMCA: Wednesday July 24th 5:15pm-6:15pm

Watch an accessible baseball game. Concessions will be available for purchase.

 

Moon Tunes

Riverside Park: Thursday July 25th 5:30pm-8pm

Enjoy the music of Slow No Wake with the No Limits group. You’ll find us wearing teal shirts.

 

Ability Awareness Art Reception

La Crosse County Administrative Building: Friday July 26th 4pm-6pm

Meet community artists at this Ability Awareness art reception. Reception program will occur at 5:00pm.
